Description
Castrol IloformTM CFX 160 is a premium, medium viscosity neat forming oil. It is based on a novel high performance,
extreme pressure and lubricity additive package that provides excellent performance without the use of chlorinated
additives.
Application
Iloform CFX 160 is designed to be used as a metal deformation lubricant for ferrous materials.
The product is particularly recommended for use in heavy duty fine blanking applications of carbon steel, such as spring
steel as well as for deep drawing on high alloy steel and stainless steel.
Iloform CFX 160 is also well suited for a wide variety of other forming applications, including heavy duty stamp-bending
operations up to 20 mm metal sheet thickness.
Iloform CFX 160 is designed to be used as received.

User Advice
Iloform CFX 160 can be removed using alkaline process cleaners, also available from Castrol Industrial.
Iloform CFX 160 is not recommended for use on yellow metals.
Storage
All packages should be stored under cover. Where outside storage is unavoidable drums should be laid horizontally to
avoid the possible ingress of water and the obliteration of drum markings.
Products should not be stored above 40°C, exposed to hot sun or freezing conditions.
